This place is famous for it's hot water springs and home land for Hoolock Gibbons and Golden Langurs. The Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in a district of Assam called - Karbi Anglong. There are 51 rare species of Orchid which can be found in the sanctuary. It's been surrounded by Nambor Forest.
Garampani ( Locally pronounce as - GOROM PANI ), means Hot water.

By Air- The closest Airport is Dimapur Airport ( Nagaland ) which is 55 KM away. The next nearest airport is Jorhat Airport which is 85 KMs aways from Gorom Pani.
By Road - The road connectivity is there by NH 39. From Guwahati it's 7 hours of Drive. The road conditions are very poor ( as of today). Try to take an SUV rather travelling in a Sedan.
Where to Stay - The best place to stay is in Golaghat district. There are many hotels available there and you can get one for a very good rate.
